The Day Shift
A 4-hour shift
Noon to 4:00 pm
Your Babymoon Doula’s daytime services may include:

Providing companionship and emotional support to Mama ("mothering the mother")
-
Teaching newborn care skills
-
Assistance with breast or bottle feeding
-
Infant soothing and diapering
-
Household organization (such as baby’s laundry and loading/unloading dishwasher)
-
Assisting you with working out a plan for support from friends and family
-
Offering you a rest by watching your baby or playing with older children
-
Preparing and serving healthy drinks and snacks
-
Preparing a simple meal
-
Providing an extra set of hands to assist you with welcoming home your school-age kids and getting them settled
-
Hands-on time with your baby so you can focus on spending time with your older kids
The Evening Shift
A 4-hour shift
5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Your Babymoon Doula’s evening services may include:

Providing companionship and emotional support to Mama ("mothering the mother")

Teaching newborn care skills
-
Assistance with breast or bottle feeding
-
Infant soothing and diapering
-
Household organization (such as baby’s laundry and loading/unloading dishwasher)
-
Assisting you with working out a plan for support from friends and family
-
Offering you a rest by watching your baby or playing with older children
-
Preparing and serving healthy drinks and snacks
-
Helping with dinner and dishes
-
Assistance with your family’s bedtime rituals

Assistance with getting organized for the next day
The Overnight Hours
An 8-hour (min) shift
Between 8:00 pm & 8:00 am
Your Babymoon Doula’s overnight services may include:

Providing companionship and emotional support to Mama ("mothering the mother")

Assistance with breast or bottle feeding, so you and your partner can get more sleep
-
Infant soothing and diapering, so you and your partner can get more sleep
-
Assistance with the family’s morning wake-up rituals for a smooth start to the day
